RICK ERICKSON ART

Rick Erickson's artistic journey began early, with private oil painting lessons in grade school and a stint in a band during high school. Though his parents steered him towards a more practical career path, Erickson's love for art persisted. After he earned a degree in Architecture, his days were filled with designing and drawing unextravagant houses. Now, retired after 35 years, Erickson has finally returned to practice the impractical. With a studio in Langley, WA and works displayed at Mara's Gallery in Port Townsend, WA, he's creating abstract and surreal art, his youthful dreams finally taking shape on canvas.
